Why Brad Doesn't Receive Answers To His Email

O.K. Here's the problem I encountered. I get an email from Brad Dressler saying that so far NO ONE has replied to his emails about attending a Professional Development Meeting. Well, I can't reply to his email (it's a "do-not reply" email) so I click immediately on the tamcon.ning site.

E-Newsletters

At today's ProComm meeting the topic of E-newsletters arose. We are considering it as a meeting topic. Seems to be something worth discussing. Do you have any suggestions on best practices for e-newseltters? Thanks.

http://www.youtube.com/edu

I was reading in the Chronicle of Higher Ed about the hundred universities that are signed up on youtube's new college and university section so, as is my wont, I clicked and went to it, expecting to see Texas A&M prominently displayed. Much to my chagrin, I saw Harvard, MIT and Texas Tech, Princeton, UCLA and Georgia Tech and 94 others, but no sign of TAMU.

I know we're trying to stay on top of everything social media-wise, so I'm thinking we need to be on youtube.com/edu. Don't get me wro… Continue

Prioritizing New Features in Application Development Using Instrumentation

So today, after several weeks with clear, hot skies, we finally have some cloud cover and I’m hearing thunder outside. But nature’s thunder is not the only thing I’m hearing. When I developed the current production maps system, I put in some instrumentation to help me log errors and watch performance. About 2 minutes after the [...]
